Ibrutinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that inhibits Burton’s tyrosine kinase. It works by preventing the abnormal protein from signal cancer cells to multiply. This aids in the prevention or slowing of the spread of cancer cells.
Ibrutinib 140mg dose
Ibrutinib is prescribed orally once daily from patients with MCL and MZL at a dose of 560mg, and once daily for patients with CLL/SLL, WM, and cGVHD at a dose of 420mg. The dose should be taken orally with a glass of water. The capsules should not be opened, broken, or chewed.
